So what's happening there in merry old England? Allegedly there's a clown causing some frights in Northhampton and nobody knows who it is or why they're doing it. The "breaking news" heading below the Atlantic Wire article (2nd listing below) has a link to a photo that is apparently of the clown in question.
Now I'm not a particular fan of Stephen King but this seems like something conjured right out of his imagination (but it would seem it's most likely just some local students pulling pranks).

A mate sent me this story, it was very reminiscent of his Call of Cthulhu character: A former Mancunian drug dealer turned children's entertainer. Psychoville was a major reference point.
