Interview With a Marcus...
So Marcus recently had a chat with Saul & Jolene of the Gaming Perspectives podcast. I should have been on there too but wasn't feeling 100% on the day so I think they'll be getting back to me at some future point
Lee Williams.

Re: Interview With a Marcus...
Just started listening to this and a point is raised about the colour pages within the main DarkCon book whereupon Marcus replies that he thinks that they were included because GDW were a bit flush with cash at that point in time.
He's absolutely correct about them having the money to spend, GDW had made big money off their Desert Storm Factbook, a product originally meant for wargamers, however...
Because it was such a quick reaction to Desert Shield/Storm (which was still ongoing when the book was published), the book was being apparently snapped up by journalists, military and government types and other groups to get info on the conflict.

That's my recollection as well... I also think that the Shield book made a bucket load of money and Storm lost just as muchReHerakhte wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 1:10 am Just started listening to this and a point is raised about the colour pages within the main DarkCon book whereupon Marcus replies that he thinks that they were included because GDW were a bit flush with cash at that point in time.
