I don't usually post anything regarding Kickstarter but this particular news involves someone who was a part of DC history some time ago. I am not going to pass personal comment until I find out exactly what happened, but if this turn out to be actual theft rather than some kind of mix-up that might change!

If you don't know who the person mentioned in the link is, then don't worry about it (unless you backed one of the projects)!

Interesting to see some updates from Ken Whitman himself, this is definitely one of those "wait and see" situations" I think.

My take on this is that given Ken's habit of doing half-a-dozen things at once, I can quite easily believe the whole thing was just a cock-up with no malice or intention of ripping people off. I also wonder if the original lack of communication was due to embarassment, which I believe is an emotion he rarely experiences

Re: Cautionary Kickstarter Tale
I'm inclined to agree with you particularly given some of the information from replies to the initial article. For instance, someone's wife was getting info sent to her facebook account and it was implied that she was not actually meant to be getting anything sent to her facebook account. Then when she took action to stop it, the kickstarter problems began.
It may only be a coincidence but it may also be the basis of the entire problem?
