Ah, dear old M M Max :D

I used to show new DC players my old VHS tapes of the first half dozen episodes to set an image of what the world looked like, more or less. Now available on DVD...Region 1 only mind you :P

I don't think this has been mentioned here before, apologies if it has.

Moon 44 features quite a few Dark Conspiracy-esque things: inter-corporate battles, MilTek gunships, robot drones, and is set in a gritty SF setting a la Alien or Outland. Shame about the sub-par Iron Eagle/Dirty Dozen plot elements though

Mind you...using convicts to do your dirty work is very much something corps might do.

You can't use convicts without saying "Dirty Dozen" which by the way also is a great DC film.

Not forgetting the British version Play Dirty. The characters aren't as well developed as The Dirty Dozen but it scores points for being even more remorselessly cynical. The throwaway ending with British TV's favourite toff Jeremy Child is pure genius: "Well don't do it again!"

See this last night, very DC

A second trailer has been released for ‘Troll Hunter’, a Norwegian mockumentary that follows a trio of college students as they capture footage of real-life trolls in the wild.

Absolutely! Definitely one of the 'core' Dark Conspiracy movies. 8)

Don't think this one has been mentioned before (did a search): Franklyn. Strange hybrid of science fiction and hard boiled detective story. Good cast and it looks great but ultimately unsatisfactory in the way it resolves its contemporary and futuristic story lines. The religious metropolis of Meanwhile City might make a good protodimension though.

I just watched Play Dirty and I must say that this was a really good movie. One of the best I have seen is quite some time. It is also inspiational for DC though a bit too "Dirty" for PCs to survive. It might be even more inspiractional for Merc2000 but the phrase: "War is a criminal enterprise. I fight it with criminals." Would work in DC as well. Thanks for listing it here.
