A Question a Day #7 - Your Favourite War Stories?

Post by Marcus Bone » Mon Jul 24, 2017 8:34 pm

So tell us about your favourite incident, event or encounter from your Dark Conspiracy gaming experience. It could be a funny anecdote from around the table, a conversation with an NPC or a tense combat with those pesky Dark Elves. Whatever sticks in your mind as being the most fun you've had a the table, I want to hear.

I am sure I will think of more, but the one that springs to mind was an incident where someone had dropped their handgun right at the start of a combat. The PCs all got through it alive, and afterwards the following exchange took place...
"As you're over there, can you try and find my gun?"
"Okay Jack, what does it look like?"
<beat>
"It's a handgun - it's L-shaped and dangerous!"

One that sticks in my mind nvolved a female biker/martial artist/low budget video star PC whom I have mentioned before (see thread on character generation - Day #5)). On the trail of a woman Sidhe who was about to flee the country after causing a riot. She followed the Sidhe into the ladies' toilets of Heathrow airport and proceeded to give her a right royal kicking. Then triumphantly emptied the contents of the towel dispenser over her unconscious body before doing a bunk, all the time laughing like a maniac. It was like a scene from a feminist remake of some dreadful mockney Brit crime thriller. Quite surreal.
