Interesting comments from Dave - the author - over on the Facebook DC page (in response to my link to the review)... he wanted to add more but was limited by the publisher on word count. Also he wanted to add more of the 'environment' detail but again couldn't given the constraints.

Review of Acute Care
Felt like I needed to do something Dark Conspiracy on this cold, wet winter's day (here in the southern Hemisphere). So, here's a brief review of 'Acute Care', a DC 3rd edition scenario written by our own Dave Schuey and published by 3 Hombres! http://www.darkconspiracytherpg.info/2019/07/21/review-...

Re: Cepheus Engine
Looks interesting... I've purchased a copy (along with a softcover). Have to say that its not the prettiest of documents, but readable and understandable! In regards to retro Sci-fi my favourite is Frontier Space (https://www.drivethrurpg.com/browse/pub/3515/DwD-Studios/subcategory/5972_28783/Fronti...

Re: Lack of updates
And I'll add my voice to those of Linden and Lee. My current gaming group has mostly been involved with D&D 5th Ed and Call of Cthulhu lately but two of the players are veterans of the first Dark Conspiracy games I ran in the early 1990s. With the launch of DC 4th Ed. there's been a bit of a dr...

Re: Lack of updates
Possibly the wrong thread, but I'd just like to say I enjoyend "The Tabellarium". An interesting spin on a subject the original rules treated far too mechanically (to the extent it was actually quite dull). Would definitely use it in a DC campaign if I was still running one. Thanks Linden...

Re: DC 4th Edition Seminar Video
Agreed!
I have to say that the panel didn't reveal too much about the new game and it really didn't seem to generate too much interest in regards to questions, but it was good to hear Sacha's and Jason's thoughts!

Re: Dark Conspiracy-like novels
Colour me interested, Linden. You say that it doesn't draw any conclusions... but do you have any after reading it?
Sounds like an interesing, if a little grizzly, concept for a DC campaign.

Just a bit of version updates and code management, so please excuse if anything looks different. I've ensured that the site remains supportable and up to date!

Re: Inspirational Movies and TV for Dark Conspiracy
Last weekend watched Vampyres (1974): A pair proto-Goth bi-sexual female vampires live in an old mansion from which they venture forth into the countryside to hitchhike and lure men to their bloody doom. Pretty much an exploitation piece with lots of nudity but elevated by its atmospheric direction...

[Inspiration Thread] Dark Conspiracy Computer Games
Hi All, To go along with the music and film threads, I thought I'd pop one up for computer Games that have that DC feeling. I'll start with Homefront: The Revolution . While it seems as if the game itself was flawed, the setting - an alternate 2029 is pretty cool... Just been watching a play through...

Beginning of the End in God's Zone...
Just read this article about Auckland, here in NZ. The wealthiest city in the country and it is starting to look more like DC every day.
