If only I was UK based, as I'm sure this would become my favourite Dark Conspiracy :P

As a fan of darker beers (especially those with a chocolate taste) I know I'd be a fan. Any of you UKites tasted it?

Not tried that, although there seems to be a bit of a vogue for chocolate beers at the moment. Possibly these things are cyclical because I remember they were popular in the mid-90s. You could even get them on draft.

I've recently taken to drinking the odd bottle of Youngs Double Chocolate Stout, it's quite pleasant but I wouldn't want to neck a large quantity of it. My father's local was also recently doing a chocolate-orange type beer which was in the 6% range. Having drank one as part of my usual quota after a weekend countryside ramble I ended up writing off what was left of the afternoon. Came to just in time to go to bed.

As Linden knows I too am a fan of proper beer. Some ales have a choccy edge in their normal flavour due to malts and sugars used in the brewing process but there aren't a great many "deliberately" flavoured beers I enjoy.

I guess deep down I think snacks should taste of snacks and ale should taste of ale :D
