Given its use by delinquents I'd suggest it's more appropriate to gang members or proles than Gnomes? In the context of Dark Conspiracy anyway.

Ever listen to today's little snowflakes of the glitteratti class talk?

Like they're straight outta Compton, yo.

But yeah, obviously a language of the lower classes.

I think so, in the UK at any rate. In my experience it's mainly chavs, and just the occasional middle class kid trying to be cool who pretend to talk like black people. I sometimes get the train to work and that's usually full of teenage college students, very middle class kids by and large. I can't recall ever hearing any of them talking like they was Ali G innit?. I live in a rural area though, and I get the impression that the Ali G effect is mainly an urban phenomenon.

Anthony Burgess's NadSat seems such a singular invention that to me it wouldn't be right to use it outside of its original context. A game of Dark Conspiracy in the world of Clockwork Orange could be interesting though...they both have that retro feel.

They used to make fun of that in 1970's black comedy shows, I'd cringe at those scenes.
