Forgive the double post, but I figured the Marcus's original suggestion should be isolated. Now to my comments on the idea. I would have to say that I agree with vadersson's reservations. If one of the central tenants of DC3 is backwards compatability, and I agree wholeheartedly that it should be, ...

Ahhh, sorry, I misunderstood, I thought you were saying it was a poor source for stealing ideas from :( As for the dodgy clothing idea, that's a scary but damned fine idea. I can just imagine something alongs the lines of the poorest proles wearing outfits like the Chinese peasants of the 1950s-197...

Considering that the Dark Lords are pretty much similar to the Old Ones of the Cthulhu mythos, I don't see that something with a Lovecraft influence is only suited to Cthulhu instead of DC. I agree the Dark Lords are similar to the Great Old Ones. That's why I prefer to keep them in the background,...

Hey gang, I think that one thing we really need is new Dark Races books. After all we already have Volume 1, so lets make some more. There are tons of legends out there can we can flesh out. I like the idea of fleshing out myths and legends. On the other hand I wouldn't like to see huge amounts of ...

Re: Inspirational Movies and TV for Dark Conspiracy
In the spirit of Chris Carpenter's old Dark Conspiracy Internet Movie Database (now long gone sadly), I thought we should start recommending movies and TV that can and have inspired DC gaming ideas. Lee, we talked about this one before, but for the benefit of the other members, what about Mimic? In...

No one should ever repeat the mistake of giving real life stats for computers! Never ever again! That is so ridiculus. DC's best computers are worse than an average cellphone. That probably was a mistake but...given the economically depressed milieu in which DC takes place might it be concei...

The automatic gunfire rules. Chuck a bucket full of dice, only score a hit on a six. Seemed a bit too random. Then again, one of my dad's mates was in Kenya and he mentioned that with a submachinegun (sten or sterling I forget which) it was just a case of holding the trigger down and hoping some of ...
