There Are Zombies Among Us

Post by Linden »

Interesting article on parasites and how they rewire the brain of their host. Mostly to do with the animal kingdom but there’s a description of the effects of toxoplasma gondii on humans.

Cats as dark minions spreading an empathic virus anyone?

I like the idea... especially as I'm sure I work with some people already infected.
It seems the most likely explanation for their behaviour.

Technically it is more a brainstealer thing than zombies. Though I guess Jerome Burne has not much expirience in minion hunting. I hate it when that happens. You come prepared for Zombies (which are un-cureable) and than face civilians under mind control. Damn the GM!
