Individual powered flight?

This is fascinating although it's probably still got some way to go before we see commuters using it to get to work! However the possibilities of this rig in modern games is wide open.
It appears to be a backpack and manoeuvring hand-units with a main thrust unit in the pack with two jets in each handpiece. Coupled with a wingsuit if you so choose, you can fly at speeds up to 48kph (30 mph) at heights up to 3660 metres (12,000 feet) - although they do caution against flying that high and/or fast.

I will admit, upon first viewing I thought this was fake but even if it is bogus or perhaps real but never works as advertised, it's still a very cool idea for use in games.

Now idea yet about fuel capacity, government regulations and so on but you can apparently buy a suit for $440,000 (I presume that's US dollars). Fuel is listed on one site as kerosene and one tank is good for four minutes flight, however on another site the flight time is listed as 5-10 minutes. Considering the company custom builds the jetsuits for each customer, I wonder if fuel capacity is something you can decide or if the increased flight time is a result of maturing the technology over time?

No matter, it's just the thing for your PCs to scale a cliff or escape a collapsing highrise!
