Site Updates - August/September 2015

Hi All...
Seems like my hosting account (which manages darkconspiractherpg.info plus a number of other sites I run) has been plagued by bad code. This has now been fixed and is up to date!
Hopefully no more outages!

Thanks for the info Marcus. After several failed attempts to load the site I was getting worried it was closed for good!

Excellent news Marcus
There are plenty of people who still don't like using the social media channels like Facebook and G+, including a few PDM contributors, so these forums still have a vital role in our corner of the gaming sphere.

Lee's quite right and I'd identify myself as one of those people. I find the "social media"-type sites tedious in their need for you to constantly manage your page & email feeds. I much prefer the forum style.

So another outage due to the same issues. I've now completed an update and a purge of a number of the old files/folders that I supported on this and other accounts.
I am planning a major upgrade to the site soonish, however, and this will result in a change to the look and feel of the site...

Hi All!
As a result of all the changes, I've had to bid farewell to the old site theme. A sad day for me as it is probably the best theme I've ever used in Wordpress and I'd done a considerable amount of work on it over the years.
Never fear the new one requires much less work and is more easily customisable (at least at the level I work at).
I should also point out that these changes will continue over the next few weeks, and this forum is up for a big update and redesign - so wish me luck!

Just a note to say that I've added a new Menu to the site making it a bit easier to navigate. As it is a *fudge* solution, it does come with a few issues (i.e. it floats above the rest of the content), but I'm happy with the result*

* now if only the plug-in editor would update it to the current version of Wordpress!
