Seems like all the games from my youth are being 'reanimated'. Golbinoid Games has recently released 'Cryptworld', their take on the classic 'Chill' - http://pacesetter.us/. Seems that Goblinoid have the rights to the old Pacesetter system (as clunky as that might be) but not the Chill setting(which Mayfair owned for a while and has on sold).
As a long time fan of Chill, I have to say I approve, especially as Cryptworld comes in at only US $6 and loose change - http://goblinoidgames.com/shop/featured ... world.html. And while I might be more into Lovecraftian madness these days, that doesn't preclude me from enjoying a bit of pulply Hammer Horror-type action now and then, does it!

Re: Cryptworld
Classic horror, slasher horror, alien menaces from the stars and interdimensional monsters. These horrors and more may greet you in CRYPTWORLD!
Sounds not unlike Dark Conspiracy when you read the pitch. More of a historical setting though?
Like yourself Marcus I wouldn't mind a bit of Hammer Horror gaming. I did think about using the metaphysical constables setting from MiniSix for a Victorian Gothic campaign but have had to put it on the back burner. My players are happy enough with me doing Cthulhu Rising for the present.

Oh my, how do I enjoy the Farnsley setting for Mini Six. In fact I've written a couple of adventures for it that, if you ever do get your campaign off the ground, I'd be willing to share!Linden wrote: I did think about using the metaphysical constables setting from MiniSix for a Victorian Gothic campaign but have had to put it on the back burner.

Thanks Marcus, I'll drop you a line if I ever get it up and running!
