As always comments and feedback is welcomed!

I like what you've done so far, obviously more informative than the old style but I think the real winner is the review page. I don't know of any other site that has (or had) actual buyer's reviews (aside from such places as DriveThruRPG) and I believe the review page is a very good thing (I even plugged the update on my Dark Con posterous blog before I posted here!)

Hey! Thanks for the blog post (and the kind comments!)

P.S. I'm thinking of doing the Darktek book next (as structurally it is a different type of book)...

I'd be interested to see what you think of that. I always thought it was one of the weakest of the Dark Conspiracy supplements (second only to the Empath sourcebook). A lot of the non dark-tek devices strike me as a bit useless. I also found the art rather comical as most of the pictures try to cram as many of the book's gadgets into the frame as humanly possible. Plus you've got the incredibly deadpan descriptive text which tells you exactly what's going on, and who's fiddling with what gadget, just in case you haven't worked it out for yourself.

The review page is stylish, nice looking format you've got for it.

Here you go, an interview with everyone's favourite DC author, our very own Lee Williams - http://www.darkconspiracytherpg.info/20 ... es-editor/

I have a couple more reviews to come as well!

Hi All!

Another review, this time the Darktek book - http://www.darkconspiracytherpg.info/20 ... w-darktek/

Linden sums this one up nicely BTW... a dog that had so much potential!

Nice review, although you were far too kind about the artwork. It's not that it's bad in itself but the situations it depicts are just completely inane, plus the captions which seem designed for the terminally hard of thinking.

Like Linden mentioned, a good review but I too think the artwork is a major failing in DarkTek. While I hadn't thought about it specifically in those terms, I think you summed up exactly how I felt with DarkTek, the missed potential and so on.

I really liked the concept behind it but I hated (still do) a lot of the illustrations (in a number of cases it seems that the artist had no sense of perspective what-so-ever and the art looks like the sort of drawings I did when I was 10 years old!)

Marcus, I entirely agree with you about how Dark-Tek can be utilised in a campaign. Shame this part of your review wasn't in the book - it's far superior and a lot more concise than the intro to The Nature of Dark-Tek chapter. I ended up using the items very much as described in your review in both the campaigns I ran.

The items I made significant use of were: Cloner, Obedience Bug, Rejuvenator, ET Stun Gun and the X14. How about everybody else?

Hi All!

Another update to the darkconspiracytherpg.info website, this time a tabloid style adventure seed - A Murder of Crows, that has been floating around my hard drive since the early days of my acquisition of DC licence (back in 2006).

Always interested in hearing if this sort of thing is of interest to you, and I have a few others I could pop up over time!

Oh, and I forgot to mention, I've finally got around to updating that annoyingly silly looking header banner on the front page. I like the new one much better, but again all comments are welcome!

Man, I'm obviously in a DC mood at the moment. I've done a bit more background work to the website, and have also created a couple of new pages - one for links (if you run a DC site or have links to one, PM me and I'll add them), the other as a list of DC products (which I'll add to as a get a chance...)

Cheers!

Good timing as I am in a DC mood too. Be working on writing up some of my old adventures and even looking to start a group back up. Such a wonderful game.

Thanks,

I like the new banner Marcus, it's quite similar in style to the ones I used for my old campaign handouts. I'm a sucker for that font style anyway! I'm very keen on Murder of Crows too, nice and simple but with plenty of scope to add more depth...I'm thinking Ptero-Ravens from the old Dark Races book
Lee Williams.
