I think is quite serious - we had a big quake here in NZ in September (bigger than the Haiti quake, we just have better building standards and better prepared) - and packs like this would have been great for those not ready for such an event!
If it was NZ based, I'd probably look into one!
that said - it is a stupid name for the website/product!

I hope you did not suffer too much damage from the quake. If you really are interested in that kind of stuff you can easily buy all of it in you average outdoor/camping store. I think they are even cheaper.
