Two articles about fast food stores offering a "more convenient" method of purchasing food.
The system in us in one US store keeps a database on the customer and links a loyalty rewards programme to their purchases while the system in use in China makes food recommendations based on its analysis of your face (including estimates of your age bracket and your mood).

From the articles it's obvious that the systems are having all the normal problems of newly introduced technology but I can see that it could easily become the preferred ordering system for such things as drive-through service and of course, with any such system, how much privacy are you willing to surrender for a little extra convenience at a fast food store?
