Yeah Phulish and I actually learnt something from it!
-- I'm presuming you're Jason so please correct me if I'm massively off target  --

While I knew about nine-tailed foxes in Asia, much of the info indicates it's a strong belief in China and Japan and doesn't pay much attention to the rest of Asia. It was a pleasant surprise to see that the belief is also strong in Korea. I certainly hadn't come across the name given to nine-tail foxes in Korea, so yeah, I learnt something!

And the Coonan is massively under-represented in RPGs so it's great to have some stats for it for DC and the other equipment is a good addition (I'm a gearhead, I like to have BIG equipment lists.) However, having said all that, I really loved The Birthright, a really twisted, fun idea!

Guilty, I'm Jason. Birthright needed a map, but is a part of my Humanoid ET menace, "Echidna". Look for more experiments that are outside the box, yet don't use special metal, or other non standard items. I'd like more camping gear for drifters, squatters, rural types. In it's own way DC is an economic apocalypse, so some survival gear should be widespread. I prefer the Coonan over the Deagle. The Gumiho are common in Korean TV, along with people who can talk to ghosts after a trauma. There are other tidbits I learned that will be DC filler, And fan participation, including Morthrai and the gang, will enhance our games in Protodimension.

I have to agree, I much prefer the Coonan, it's alot more manageable in all regards!
You're dead right about the economic apocalypse side of DC and it's unfortunate that the original game didn't play on this some more.
There was a definite need for low-end/low-tech equipment that would be in everyday use with the poor, if for no other reason than to illustrate to the Players just how badly off the underclass are (and it would also mean the PCs would have been able to get something to help them out in a tight spot when they didn't have the money to buy all that over-priced upmarket survival gear!)

For the overpriced stuff, a gnome RV based on the bus chassis is in the works. I see enough of the real world "battle wagons" around. Also some more generic shooting stuff: from jackets to wind speed and ballistic aids.
