The Horror of the Looming Deadline! July 7th for submissions

Post by Morthrai »

We are as usual looking for horror-conspiracy-weirdness RPG material for our freebie publication Protodimension.

If you have something to share, why not send it in for our consideration? You have one week from today until the official deadline for next issue. That's July 7th, anything after that goes into a future issue.

The email is as always submissionsATprotodimensionDOTcom

Thanks muchly :)
Lee Williams.

Put alot out, but I think the remaining will be after this deadline, especially the adventure. I find my self looking through the old guides and making stuff since we can't publish Paul's stuff.....

Even more reason for not worrying if you are replicating gear that Paul has on his site... he recently found that a number of entries (specifically for blackpowder weapons) were bad (in his words, they were "whack"), so he has to redo various stats.

As I said before, submit what you want and if it's similar or even the same as what Paul has done, so be it. He's added so much gear that it's not easy finding items he hasn't done and your stats might not be the same as his. And more importantly, not every DC fan goes to Paul's site (his "wall of text" entries do put some people off) so not every DC fan may have the gear you create.

Besides, anything you do create CAN have pictures, something he decided not to do after having a run-in with Janes Information Group (because he was using their images to illustrate every entry but without permission).

Just to let you know your stuff will be in this issue. One little tweak was necessary for one of Phulish's pieces (as you know) but otherwise all sound.

Is it just me... I'm actually quite hyped up about this issue and not just because it'll arrive around the same time as my birthday 8)

It's issue number 20 and it means PD has been going for five years now.
It's been four years since I did my first submissions for the magazine.
I still can't believe it's been half a decade since the first issue.

As I mentioned on the PD Google Group some weeks back, I'm sad for the demise of Demonground but I'm happy that Protodimension took up the reins and really happy to see it still going strong after five years which means I'll be holding issue 40 in my hands in another five years!

So again, "congratulations" and "keep up the great work" to everyone who's been involved, particularly to the 3 Hombres :D

If most of my stuff's there, I hope it really helps. :D I'm tackling one smaller adventure before I flesh out my generations one. Gear is easier than adventures!

Thanks for the kind words! :D

It's all down to our talented contributors like you guys, we three couldn't put a quarterly mag together by ourselves.
