Psion, an interesting reading

I'm currently reading again "Psion", a 1982 book by Joan D. Vinge. A good reading about the existence and use of psionic powers. Althought not belonging to the modern horror genre, Psion is situated in a sci-fi background with great presence of Megacorporations. It has a continuation in "Catspaw" (Joan D. Vinge, 1988).
The treatment of the psionic powers are very interesting. The way the writer describes some of the Dark Conspiracy usual psionic capabilities can give you some nice ideas for your games.
