Hi All!

Just wanted to say that I'm not dead :P Rather life has got in the way of my writing time etc (mainly due to work).

I'll be back with my monthly updates soon, I'm sure!

Oh yeah, you don't need to explain that situation. Seems like it's the year for it :(
I'm currently in a major slump when it comes to inspiration for gaming, largely due to real life hassles but also from my last attempt to run a campaign where I had some incompatible player types and trying to keep everyone happy just left me with burnt fingers and a "once bitten, twice shy" attitude.

Possibly the wrong thread, but I'd just like to say I enjoyend "The Tabellarium". An interesting spin on a subject the original rules treated far too mechanically (to the extent it was actually quite dull). Would definitely use it in a DC campaign if I was still running one.

I'm definitely with Linden, The Tabellarium does make something decent from the idea of hunter cells.

And I'll add my voice to those of Linden and Lee. My current gaming group has mostly been involved with D&D 5th Ed and Call of Cthulhu lately but two of the players are veterans of the first Dark Conspiracy games I ran in the early 1990s. With the launch of DC 4th Ed. there's been a bit of a drive by those players to get back into DC and the Tabellarium fits in very well with the ideas I've been toying with for starting a new DC campaign.

As an adjunct to Linden's comments about the treatment of Hunter cells in the original edition being mechanistic and dull, it's somewhat amusing/ironic to me that the original write-up for cells lacked that certain touch of "human-ness" - the very thing that the Hunter cells are trying to preserve!

Thanks Linden...

It was going to be one of my contributions to the Demonground 20th Anniversary edition, but while everyone seemed keen there weren't quite enough submissions from the founding editors to get it over the line.

Oh, and the scenario I'm looking to release soon references this group... plus my own favourite corporation... Tashicorp.

Excellent - I appreciate the feedback. With the return of DC, my new group (well a subset of it) includes a number of actors and performers. We have plans to put together a DC actual play campaign at some point in the future (don't hold your breath, we are all busy contractors!).

Cheers!
