Looks like they killed more innocent people in a few hours than the average Werewolf in his entire life. Indeed. The party ended up being almost totally wiped out to make a point about the "ethics" an RPG. I'm all for bad guy PC's, but not mindless slaughter. They should have a ...

I personally think that groups of weak minions who can use guns are deadlyer than individual strong monsters. Or that's the experience I have made as a GM. I use the "quick kill" rules, so I totally agree. One round through the head or chest, a poor roll for the PC, and death. All to easy...

Occasionally using dark minions to help the players is a very evil idea. Especially if they are not betraying the players all the time... I've had a couple of players be on the "Dark Side" sort of stuggling, like Luke Skywalker, with their path. I had a great character made by one of my r...

Jep, have you seen the sequels? I havne't but I have heard that there are actually three or two out. But I don't know it they are any good. At least two sequels, and they looked so bogus I never saw any of them either. Pulp Fiction is another great. Just a touch of weird with the green-glowing brie...

Well now, I go away to London for the weekend and when I get back we have a new forum member who posts on many topics :D Welcome aboard Paul, it's always cool to gather up another long-term Dark Conspirator! I'm pleased to be here. I've been thinking my group was the last one playing DC for years. ...

Oh and Paul Mann III, .. Nice "Rorschach" Avatar! Yeah, I'll put the NPC card up for him one of these days, I use him as sort of the "Hand of God" against rowdy, rule offending players.. http://img110.imageshack.us/img110/5892/ruleslawyersmy3.th.jpg .. Damn, ImageShack won't let...

I too am a Military Veteran; 10 Years active duty in the USAF. As unfair as it seems, yes military background players do deserve all that they get for all the training and experience they receive. However , heres a thought for the GM. Just like the real world not everyone is accepted into the milit...

Re: Chicken or the Egg

The real question is; Are all the ET's under Daemon control, or is the world FUBAR half because of the Dark Ones controlling the ET's and half because the ET's had it in for Earth from the start? I was never that keen on the big-mothership-crewed-by-four-races backstory. I find it difficult...

Welcome aboard Paul, Like Morthrai I'm inclined to favour GDWs interpretation, they had a few military enthusiasts amongst their number including one USMC veteran of Vietnam. Indeed. As a student of military history, and the only person in family not to be a combat soldier in 150 years I was unable...

Re: Brainsotrming forum

How about a brainstorming forum? A forum to write in good ideas that you could not develop due to a writing block, or just not capable to put the required effort, hoping that someone else might want to take it from there. I like it. GM's pooling their collective, creative resources can make for mor...

Rank Structure

Can anyone explain to me the post/rank structure of the website? Is there anything else I should know about? :?: (i.e. We have a Reputation/Medal system on ACG)

Army Strong!

The Military Careers are a bit much, in my experience. Giving Basic Training and 6 points is alot, and only giving the Army 4 points? I think they should all be 4 point careers to balance out the Basic Training. I gets hard to ignore the benefits of a term or two in the military (better Init dice, I...

Booster-Kit

I Love my booster kit. All the players were very pleased with my giving each one a different option, except for the Cyborg Escapee, I felt they should be excluded from mustering out.

The Career updates, and the Street Urchin, and the Social Class stuff, all great.

Don't mix your generations of gamers....

I was 15 when I let my friends Dad borrow a character to play with us one night. I had about a half dozen people already, but I used to like to run huge games (I had 12 or 13 people a few times). He had been playing AD&D and D&D for 20 years already so figured, it's cool. I lent him my Cybor...
