Yep that is a good point of view, nontheless I would prefere it if the computers would just be 'very fast' and 'state of the art' it is just too strange if your NASA PC's supercomputer is slower than the player's cellphone...

T2K came up with the solution of rolling d20s at impossible range instead of d6. So the skill was somehow involved in automatic fire. I personally loved the d6 rule since it made 12-year-olds with aging aks formidable foes.

The game MUST be playable with one book! The last edition where you where forced to buy two books before you could start playing was crap! No one I know bought the books because of that! The few people already owning DC (like me) where the only ones to buy them to support the game. Weapons, Vehicles...
