You could always just have an active gang in the area of the warehouse/factory, that the PCs will have to deal with to even be able to get close.

Or maybe the Rat King has been negotiating with the gangers to acquire guns in return for the many things his rats can steal.

The world isn't quite DC standard. For one the economy of Europe and especially Japan is quite strong. This latest trip was funded by a Japanese Gnome who arranged for transport and supplies before hand as he was producing a movie in the area. The group were all members of the cast and crew. When th...

I'm thinking of using a Bhuta in the game I'm running this weekend. I did a toxic mother who was being worshipped by a small tribe of Nukids in the Congo jungle last time. Just move the focus to eastern Africa and it is fitting I think. Hell, might write the story I still need to send Michael about ...

Also you statement of the non-miscability of the schools stirred a question. In 1st Edition you could have either a Psionic/Sorcerer or a Mystic/Sorcerer. In 3rd you won't be able to do that?

If I remember right, you have to be a registered member to post there and they have a graphic security code to become a registered member. I've been having this same kind of issue over at the Dark America forum. I finally sat down the other day and went through every post and purged all of the poste...

I don't have the 1st edition Empathic Sourcebook, but in the reprints in the 2.5 version there is nothing mentioned.

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't. I'll have to look up the Bloodkin when I get home and see if they have their own version of the Illusion rule.

Ok, the exact wording of the illusion rule: "Each time a ravager is viewed by a nonempathic human, a Difficult test of the viewer's Willpower is made to detemine if the viewer penetrates the illusion. If the test is unseccessful, the viewer sees the creature as human. If successful, the viewer ...

Basically how it works is that the first time that an empath looks at a Ravager, they automatically make a Difficult EMP test. If it is a stage 1-3 (I think) they get a momentary glimpse through the disguise. Stage 4-5 prevents them from ever seeing that Ravager's disguise ever again. Stage 6 makes ...

Just heard about this today: The DREAD or MPDS Synopsis: Centrifugal fired small arm that can maintain a RoF of 120,000 rpm at approximately 8000 fps. The projectiles are small, textured metal balls. There is no propellant and no exhaust. Thusly the weapon is complete recoilless, heatless, and frict...

Current State of Things

O Mighty TGC, Might we inquire as to what is the state of the redesign and such? We know, mainly from Lee Williams posts, that the redesign is progressing, but it has been ages since we've heard anything from Marcus or seen a post on the DC main page. What's happening? Do you have a rough timetable ...

Verily, it's always a bad sign when the GM answers all equipment requests with "Sure, go ahead and get whatever you want."
